Build an SEO roadmap that supports decisions.
An inventory of issues is not enough to organise delivery. This template connects each workstream to a finding, a decision, an owner and a check.
Record the finding before the solution
Identify the affected pages, the source and the observation date. Separate a confirmed issue from a hypothesis requiring investigation.
Describe why it matters
Explain the consequence for users, crawling or the business. Page count alone does not determine priority.
Identify dependencies
Note product decisions, data access or development work needed first. Ask the delivery team to estimate the effort.
Define the expected outcome
Describe observable behaviour rather than promising traffic: a correct redirect, a consistent canonical, an accessible page or a present link.
Choose the next action
Choose implementation, investigation or postponement. Identify the owner and the criteria for closing the task.
This is a blank template. It does not calculate priorities automatically: decisions depend on your objectives, constraints and the strength of the evidence.
